I can think of so many times in life where I wish I had a second chance. I believe others feel that same way. I am hoping that the Second Chance Foudation of Utah can give people another chance to succeed. There is power in numbers. Have you have found yourself moved by the news of families or individuals who have faced extremely difficult challenges and have said, "I wish we could help?" Do it. Too often we pass by a car in trouble on the side of the road thinking someone else will help. We see a story on the news about a tragic situation, but forget to write out a check.We want to volunteer our time to help, but this week is just too busy. We want to help, but not this time.
The fact is, not now, usually means never.

Don’t stand on the sidelines and watch. Get involved. Check yourself into the game. Imagine having an experience like this: A wife with tears streaming down her face, thanks you for helping her husband save his life by getting a liver transplant and asks, "How can we ever thank you?" Tell me where you can find a better experience? We are on this earth for a purpose. George Washington Carver said it best. "It’s simply service that measures success." The best use of your time will be spent helping others.

Make a difference now. With a donation of your time, your skills or your financial resources, everyone can help. If you can give an hour to help with an event or if you can make a donation, I can promise that every effort will be done to make sure every dollar that is donated will be used in its best possible way to make an impact. No donation of time or resources is too small.
